The day will conclude with the awards night. The best of the startup ecosystem will be awarded in 25 categories segregated into stages – Nascent/Seed, Early/Growth, Expansion and Mezzanine. The nominations will undergo two stages of screening and will be screened and judged by a jury consisting of eminent industry stalwarts, CEOs, startup heroes, angel investors and venture capitalists having a rich experience of the startup ecosystem. Winners will be presented with an Award trophy and will be eligible for a bouquet of benefits

How it Works

16th December 2021, the event will conclude with the awards night. Startup awards celebrate spirit of achievement and innovation in the startup ecosystem. Startup companies under various categories will be evaluated by distinguished personalities from the startup ecosystem.

The best of the startup ecosystem will be awarded in 25  categories.

Anyone can nominate themselves under predetermined categories based on stages of funding:

  • Nascent / Seed
  • Early / Growth
  • Expansion
  • Mezzanine

Selection Stages

Nomination

  • Any individual, founder or authorized person can nominate their startup under any of the categories provided (a startup can nominate in more than one category)
  • Each startup can nominate themselves based on stage of funding – Nascent/Seed, Early/Growth, Expansion & Mezzanine
  • Startup should be: privately held and incorporation/ foundation date should not be more than 5 years from the date of event and should not have a turnover of more than 25 crores in the last 5 financial years

Pre-Selection

  • A robust framework for pre-screening / evaluation parameters for startups will be used for initial shortlisting
  • A team of experts will evaluate and shortlist the nominees by scoring the startup on a defined set of parameters for each category and for each stage of startup

Final Selection

  • Final list of shortlisted startups will be evaluated by the jury consisting of eminent industry stalwarts, CEOs, angel investors, venture capitalists etc. having a wide and rich experience of the startup ecosystem
  • Jury will determine the winner in each category based on details entered in the entry form, additional supporting documentation and other criteria as deemed necessary by the jury using pre-defined criteria

Rewards

  • Winners will be presented with an Award trophy for their achievements and contribution to the startup ecosystem during the grand Awards Night function
  • Awards night event will be streamlined on various platforms and Jio News Video
  • Winners get the opportunity for free publication on Aspire Media Magazine for a period of 3 months
  • Video interviews of all winners will also be displayed on the website.
